Hello! My name is Diamond. I am a pit mix and I am about 6 months old. I'm a very sweet, friendly, affectionate, smart, and curious girl. You can tell I want to learn as I investigate things. Once I have had some exercise I settle down and am ready for your attention. I have a great personality and would be a nice fit for a family who will commit to continuing my training. It seems I missed out on the normal doggie training all pups need. I have not spent much time on a leash either, but my leash training is improving everyday as the workers at Shiloh teach me. Right now, I pull a good bit, but I'm food motivated which can be used as a training tool to help me walk better. My Shiloh family has also taught me to 'sit'. I am motivated by treats which will help with other training, too. I like tough chew toys and bones, and I love to play fetch -- just have more than one ball handy, as I haven't learned to drop it just yet. My potty manners have been very good. I keep my crate clean and am well-behaved while in it. I don't seem to care for other dogs or cats as of right now. I should be your only pet. The people at Shiloh are working with me in the hopes of helping me feel more comfortable around new animals. Talking to me while we're on walks helps to distract me from dogs, runners, children with loud toys, squirrels, and the like which may cross our path. When there isn't anything around to grab my attention, I walk nicely on a leash; but, always keep a good hold of it. I also love following you around and to just be near you, not in a needy way, but in an "I'll keep you company way".  I am very strong with lots of energy and -- though I would not mean to, I could easily knock over children, so best my furever home should have older kids only. I am current on my vaccinations, I'm spayed, and will be microchipped. I am ready and waiting for the right family to find me and love on me! Serious inquiries only please! We will be asking each person to fill out a brief application. Also my homing fee is $75
